Interview with R. Pachauri

Added on 6 February 2010: Another report Pachauri and India in the Telegraph.

Caveat: Reports in the Telegraph (and other newspapers) are sometimes contested as not being accurate. Not all newspapers adopt the good journalistic practise of having direct quotes authorized. Interviews, on the other hand, are in most cases accurate and authorized - according to my experience.

Wow, Hindustantimes!
Population India: 1.2 billion
Population Mumbai: 14 million
with neighboring cities one of the most densely populated areas in the world

India is NOT listed on our klimazwiebel poll;
Asian voters: 2

Invite your friends from India to participate on klimazwiebel! How does the Pachauri discussion look like from India? How does the debate about skeptics resonate in India? What is a 'honest broker' from an Indian perspective?

Have a look at the very interesting article on the same page: Protect the protectors, about the ecology of Mumbai.

Interesting what the first part of the article is about:

1) The quality of his suit (it is NOT an ARMANI suit)
2) He lives in the luxurious Golf link, but he has inherited his house
3) he is suspected to be a vegetarian Hindu.

Sounds like these reproaches have their origins in the British press.
