Seems like this might be an interesting new attempt at "open-source" journalism. Ultimately the Guardian maintains editorial control, but they are trying to harness the "expertise" of qualified contributors (the "protagonists" of all sides).
I wonder how this will turn out - my guess is that the majority of their contributors will not the sort of leading figures they're hoping for.
